Gestalt in Black and Brown (online)
A process group for black, brown, and non-white gestalt trainees, trainers, and practitioners. The field of gestalt can be very white. Just google it.

Here are some of my experiences in gestalt:

“I don’t really see skin color.”

“I don’t really take people of color in my work because I just can’t understand their experience.”

“You’re playing the race card, but look around (all white people).”

“There’s no such thing as racism.

While we will come together at the start of every group, we will break out into BIPoC-facilitated small groups.

Group 2: E/O Wednesday, 9/25/24-12/18/24; 1/15/24-5/21/24
Time: 7-8:30pm ET
Group 3: E/O Saturday, 9/28/24-12/21/24; 1/18/24-5/24/24
Time: 8-9:30pm ET
Cost: this group is paid for by donations linked to generosity, reparations, guilt, sorrow, support, and white folx trying to heal their part in racist dynamics in gestalt.
